Seedream 5.0 Pro Layer Decomposition FAQ
It produces a base image and separated visual layers. The base image follows your selected output format, while the separated layers are returned as PNG files.
No. This is a dedicated image-to-layers workflow. It requires exactly one source image and is designed to separate elements from that image, not to generate a newly composed image from several references.
No. The prompt is optional. Leave it empty for automatic identification of major elements, describe the parts you want separated, or use a supported <bbox>x1 y1 x2 y2</bbox> expression when you need to point to a specific region.
Upload exactly one PNG/JPEG image up to 30 MB. The source must contain 262,144 to 36,000,000 pixels and have an aspect ratio between 1:16 and 16:1. HEIC and HEIF are not supported.
Use 1K or 1.5K when a lower-cost editable breakdown is enough, and 2K when you need the higher size tier. Auto chooses based on the source image and may require up to the 14-credit tier.
Upload one eligible source image, optionally describe the element or region to separate, choose a size and base-image format, and submit an image-to-layers task.
The workflow decomposes one flattened source composition at a time. If you want to guide a new image with several references, use the standard Seedream 5.0 Pro page instead.
The PNG or JPEG setting controls the base image. The separated layers themselves are returned as PNG files.
Yes. The public page explains and prepares the task, while the source upload and generation require sign-in so Rivya can validate the file and manage credits and task history.
Review whether the intended subject boundaries were separated cleanly, whether small details stayed with the right layer, and whether the base image still works for the next editing step.
