GPT Image 2 FAQ
Use it for product shots, campaign concepts, reference-image edits, or scenes with several objects and layout instructions. Describe the subject, placement, and details you want to preserve, then inspect the output before using it.
Yes. Generate from a text prompt alone, or add up to 16 JPEG, PNG, or WebP references for an edit. Each upload can be up to 10 MiB. A prompt is required in either mode.
Every aspect ratio listed here, including Auto and 1:1, can be paired with 1K, 2K, or 4K. Choose a resolution for your intended use and check the initial credit reserve. The pricing contract is per output image; Rivya initially reserves the displayed request estimate. After success, a valid provider usage report within that reserve can settle the charge and return unused credits. Missing, invalid, or higher usage requires reconciliation.
On Rivya, GPT Image 1.5 has Medium and High quality settings, while GPT Image 2 has 1K, 2K, and 4K resolution settings. They have separate controls and estimates. Compare each model with the same brief and review the result rather than assuming one will follow every instruction better.
Check the prompt and references before choosing 4K for a draft you expect to revise. Each new generation is a separate request with its own credit reserve. A different image model may suit the controls or editing approach you need.
Prepare a prompt and choose aspect ratio and resolution on this page. After signing in, you can upload reference images and submit a generation here; opening Studio is optional.
You can read the page and draft a prompt without signing in. Sign in to upload reference images. Generating also requires sign-in and enough credits for the initial reserve; uploading a reference does not reserve generation credits.
Check the subject, composition, reference images, aspect ratio, resolution, and displayed credit estimate. All the listed aspect ratios can be paired with each listed resolution. Review the task status and output after submitting.
Use Studio when you want to keep working in the image workspace. Tasks submitted from this page are also stored in your generation history. A history record does not guarantee that its output URL will remain accessible, so save useful results while they are available.
